The Foxy Bard and Twig are a musical duo that performs nationally from coast to coast, known for their volume, presence, and high-energy performance. Inspired by the musical folk traditions of medieval taverns, they have created a show unlike any other: a fusion of Renaissance world music, Celtic traditional, and original ballads. Their songs cover everything from authentic 13th-century drinking songs in Latin to songs in modern English about Irish wakes. They are extremely versatile musicians, multi-instrumentalists, and masters of improvisation, and their show is guaranteed to have something for everyone.

David Mikofsky (Foxy) has been a musician since childhood and has been taking his skills on the road for over a decade. His love of history and foreign languages has long been the basis of his performance that, along with his partner Erin Bernardi (Twig), combines these elements into a musical experience. Their unique fusion of musical genres combined with their penchant for improvising lyrics on the fly sets their act apart from any other. The two create an interactive experience for their audience by using their suggestions to make song lyrics, with hilarious results. Their music has its roots all over the world. David can sing in over 40 languages and has dedicated research into the cultures that produce these songs. The goal of this act is to create an experience that is amusing for all, but one that also inspires them to learn more about medieval music and the world's many cultures.
